Author of 'How to Communicate More Effectively', Dr Kate Beaven-Marks has a passion for the psychology and practice of communication. She has presented communication strategies to audiences around the world. Coming from psychology, education and hypnosis backgrounds, she is an energetic, enthusiastic, experienced hypnotherapy trainer. Dr Kate Beaven-Marks is an energetic, enthusiastic, experienced clinical hypnotist, hypnotherapy trainer, international presenter and author. As well as teaching with HypnoTC and creating courses with Hypnosis-Courses.com (co-founder), she also teaches communication and hypnotherapy to specialist teams in the NHS. Kate has also worked in education, local government, high risk and heavy industries. Her doctoral studies explored hypnotherapy teaching and learning from a professionalism perspective. She takes an active role in supporting the hypnotherapy profession, being on the Profession Specific Board for Hypnotherapy with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and as Chair of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH).
