Exhibitor Spotlight: The Arora Group
Not only is the Arora Group going to be representing its luxury UK hotels at The Meetings Show this year, but they’re also going to be hosting their own group of hosted buyers, offering a taste of their famous hospitality – we spoke to group sales executive Sugith Hewage to find out more.
Tell us about your venue?
The Arora Group is a collection of 10 hotels across the UK, with the majority based at key airport locations and over 5,000 bedrooms in operation by 2020, with over 140 spaces available. Arora Group partners with some of the world’s leading hotel brands under franchise agreements (Sofitel, InterContinental and Crowne Plaza to name a few), to bring our delegates an outstanding level of service with brand promise.
What are the benefits to meetings and event’s organisers of using your venue?
Organisers benefit from a wide range of versatile facilities across all our hotels, offering fantastic spaces up to 3,000 sqm in size. The variety of locations in our collection also provides organisers with the perfect travel convenience required for any meeting or event.

Are there any sectors or industries you work closely with?
We specialise in a multitude of different industry segments, the main industries being pharmaceutical, financial, automotive, hospitality and aerospace to name a few, however we tailor all of our events to ensure we deliver to a high standard. From ceremonies for 1,000+ delegates to high end board meetings for 10, we have a range of brands and facilities to support the most experienced planner.
Why should meetings and events buyers visit your stand at the show in 2019?Buyers can visit Stand F400 to learn about the exciting luxury hotels which are part of the Arora Group portfolio, including Sofitel London Heathrow and InterContinental London – The O2, as well as the new hotel projects we have underway for 2020.
You’re running a hosted buyer group at this year’s show. What activities or incentives do you have planned with your group?
This year, we are treating our hosted buyer group to an evening of superb entertainment at The O2 in Greenwich, where buyers will be treated with luxury hospitality at Arora Group’s private corporate box, whilst captivated by the magnificent Cirque de Soleil show.
Do you have any exciting developments planned for 2019/20 that you can share?
As well as opening the new Hilton London Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 imminently, stand F400 will be giving visitors a taste of our new luxury Windsor country house hotel, which will offer a 500+ capacity ballroom as well as one of the UK's leading fully-integrated spa and wellness facilities.
