Sound Connections

Wizdom is an experienced musician, who began his creative journey in the 90’s UK Rap group GreenJade, and was co-founder of the Gunz Down Schools tour from which he developed a passion for youth work. He then joined XLP as their Arts Director and was part of the team that set up the East London Arts & Media school as well as cocreating the Big Music Project for the National Lottery, Global, UK Youth and Universal. He has partnered with Tileyard to create Tileyard Impact and developed a work experience programme for the creative industries. More recently he has been leading on MOBO Unsung, the artist development programme for MOBO and also has been involved in writing the new Media Broadcast & Production T-Levels.

Wizdom is an ex-founding member of pioneering Hip Hop group GreenJade with whom he performed for over 17 years, recorded 4 albums and set up their studio and record label. After which he spent 8 years running the arts for the youth charity XLP and whilst there created the Big Music Project/Music Potential and opened ELAM School in East London.

Wizdom has started his own CIC We Are Impact (formerly Tileyard Impact) bridging the gap between creative education and creative careers. He relaunched MOBO UnSung in 2021, the MOBO awards artist development and accelerator program.

He is now the Deputy Director of Sound Connections music education charity and has been heavily involved in the writing of the Media Broadcast & Production T-Level qualification. Part of the PRS Foundation Power Alumni, Wizdom is also the artist manager of emerging Rock/Drill artist Crae Wolf.
