Natalie joined ExCeL London as its first full-time Sustainability Manager in 2022, demonstrating the venue's continuing commitment to sustainable development. Having gained an MSc in Environmental Management, Natalie started her career in the construction industry, working in sustainability for leading brands such as Berkeley Homes ' one of the UK's leading sustainable homebuilders. In her short time at the venue, ExCeL has published its first Sustainability Strategy in line with an ESG framework, become carbon neutral certified to the PAS 2060 standard and achieved Planet Mark Business Certification. Natalie is currently developing the venue's Net Zero Transition Plan, in alignment with the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative and the SBTi Net Zero Corporate Standard.
