Jonathan is an experienced Senior Lecturer with a demonstrated history of working in the global higher education industry. Delivering educational programmes in Qatar in preparation for the 2022 FIFA world Cup and in Barcelona supporting destination management professionals. He also lectures at Modul University in Vienna and at the American Hotel Academy in Romania.

As a Senior Lecturer in Events Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, Jonathan is responsible for the Event Operations and Production theme, which runs through both the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as delivering optional units relating to Sports Event Management.

Interested in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in sport/football and events Jonathan has publications, which relate to diverse subjects, ranging from Futsal to CSR in the meetings industry. He is also involved in collaborative research projects relating to the Street Child Cricket World Cup and the Commodification of Football Sport Community Trusts. In addition, Jonathan also works closely with events industry partners and is a member of the OnePlan higher education advisory board and represents MMU as part of a Learning Bridges programme relating to collaboration in events management education.
