Danielle is responsible for driving the commercial strategy for the International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales), located in South Wales.

She has a wealth of experience in the events industry including roles at Celtic Manor and Chepstow and Hereford Racecourses. Her impressive track record in the industry includes playing a key role in the successful delivery of the 2010 Ryder Cup and 2014 NATO Summit in South Wales.

Alongside her day-to-day role, Danielle has been a driving force in educating the global events sector on Martyn’s Law, which will formalise the responsibilities and actions that publicly accessible locations in the UK must take to mitigate the risk of a terrorist attack.

Since the beginning of 2022, Danielle and the team at ICC Wales have worked tirelessly on creating educational resources including its Protect Duty report, delivering informative sessions at industry trade shows and launching its own Protect Duty Events Industry Group, which reports its findings directly to UKEVENT’s Government and Advocacy Working Group.

Danielle’s tenacity has helped ICC Wales to secure several prestigious industry awards for its work on Martyn’s Law including: the 2022 ICCA Best Marketing Award, ABPCO – Best Legacy Award, Exhibition News Marketing Awards 2023 – Campaign of the Year B2B. In addition to this, Danielle was recognised for her role in educating the industry on Martyn’s Law and was named an Innovator winner in the Smart Women in Meetings Awards in 2023.
