Tomorrow's Talent 2025: Rose Griffiths

Rose Griffiths, project manager at emc3, is forging a path in the events industry with a passion for purpose-led experiences, a talent for collaboration, and a drive to create positive impact. From supporting high-profile projects to building meaningful industry connections, she thrives on the variety and challenges that come with every new event. Here, she shares the advice that’s shaped her journey so far, the values that guide her work, and her vision for the future of the industry.

What do you love the most about working in events?
The variety! No two events are the same—each comes with its own unique set of challenges and opportunities to create truly incredible experiences.

What has been the most valuable piece of advice you've received in your career, and how has it shaped your approach to your work?
Try everything and say yes to everything! Our industry is incredibly close-knit, and the more chances you have to meet people, grow your network, and build genuine relationships, the more doors will open. I’ve had life-changing experiences thanks to this mindset and have met the most inspiring people along the way.

Who or what inspires you in your professional life, and why?
I’m proud to work for a company that actively empowers women to rise to senior leadership roles. Seeing female leaders excel in this space reminds me daily that it’s not only possible—but essential—to strive for those positions.

What have you found key to building strong, successful relationships in the industry?
Collaboration is everything. Events are unpredictable by nature, and having strong, trusted partnerships can make all the difference when things change last-minute. Being there for others and knowing you can count on your network is vital.

Are there any tips or habits that you’ve found most valuable for professional development?
Writing! Whether it’s crafting LinkedIn posts or blog articles, clear and confident communication can really set you apart. It’s a great way to reflect on what you’ve learned, share insights, and raise your professional profile in the industry.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting in the industry, what would it be?
Use your LinkedIn! Connect with leaders, engage in conversations, and don’t be afraid to carve out your own voice. Show what excites you about the industry—people will notice.

Looking ahead, what do you hope to achieve in the next 5–10 years, both personally and within the industry?
I want to help create an industry where people and planet are central to every experience. From reducing environmental impacts to improving accessibility, I’m keen to keep learning and contributing to a more conscious and inclusive events landscape.

What would be your dream event to work on?
I’m gardening-obsessed! My dream would be a countryside incentive retreat focused around gardens—think rustic dinners in walled gardens, with food and flowers straight from the grounds. Pure bliss.
