With international events under her belt and multiple industry accolades to her name, Natasha is a rising force in the world of events. Here, she shares her career highlights, lessons learned, and what makes the magic of events so special.
Tell us a bit about your journey in the industry so far. How did you get started?
My first real taste of events came during my university placement year, working at a venue where I became Assistant Manager at just 21. That operational foundation taught me so much and set me up for the agency world. I spent six and a half years at an agency before recently joining Premier Events, and I absolutely love it - especially the client-facing side and getting to see all the hard work come to life on-site.
What has been a defining moment in your career to date?
There are a few! Managing international events from start to finish always feels like such a privilege. I’ve also loved speaking on panels at the C&IT International Forum, BNC Event Show, and mia Agent Connect Day, getting to discuss the industry with peers is so energising.
What’s one key lesson you’ve learned from a challenging project or experience?
Communication is everything. Assumptions can lead to chaos, so staying in sync with clear, detailed updates throughout the process makes a huge difference. Also, remembering that everyone’s working towards the same goal helps you stay patient and collaborative — especially when deadlines are tight.
What does being a Tomorrow’s Talent winner mean to you?
It means the world. To be recognised among such a talented group is a huge honour and a reminder that the hard work really does pay off. It’s also amazing to see initiatives that spotlight young professionals in the industry, it’s both a personal milestone and a professional one.
What advice would you give someone just starting out in the industry?
Put yourself out there from the start! Go to networking events, connect with people on LinkedIn, and don’t be afraid to pick up the phone instead of emailing, those personal touches go a long way. And honestly, feel free to reach out to me! I love supporting new talent.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself through working in events?
That I thrive in high-energy environments. I didn’t realise just how much I’d love the fast pace, the problem-solving, and the buzz of seeing an event come together. It’s taught me how resilient, creative, and adaptable I really am.
If your event had to have a movie theme, what would it be?
Harry Potter, hands down. The Great Hall, floating candles, magical vibes, dramatic outfits - it would be an absolute dream!
