What does being a Tomorrow’s Talent winner mean to you?
It is a massive milestone in my career, and it has been such an amazing achievement for myself and DRPG.
Tell us about your proudest career moment so far and why?
Becoming a senior project manager within DRPG, being recognised internally was a huge highlight in my career. Also, working on various large-scale projects overseas is something I love working on – it is so rewarding to see projects abroad come to life!
What do you most love about working in events?
I love the whole journey, being part of a project from start to finish and then seeing the excitement on delegates and clients faces during the event, especially when they’re a massive success!
What are some of the barriers to entering the events industry you have come up against?
Covid was a very difficult time as we had to upskill and learn a new role while understanding the safety process for working during the pandemic. Also, learning to work abroad in the USA (was challenging). There were lots of different rules and procedures I had to learn, but it was an amazing experience.
What item wouldn’t you be without at work and why?
My phone, it is my main way of communicating!
If you could teleport to any event in history, which one would it be and why?
Prince William and Kate’s wedding – it would have been an amazing part of history to be a part of.
