Insight: Network your way to success
Networking is an integral and important part of being an executive or personal assistant. Sharing challenges and ideas with fellow professionals, gleaning tips on new restaurant openings, discovering new suppliers – it’s crucial for assistants to get out and meet up.
PA Life encourages networking by hosting a series of live events which bring together PAs and EAs from all walks of life, but with one common goal – to discover new solutions and ideas.
The PA Life Summit – taking place on Monday 30 September at the Hilton Tower Bridge, London – is a unique one-day event which brings together PAs and EAs with suppliers to the sector for a series of pre-arranged meetings. These meetings are based on mutual agreement which means that there’s no hard sell.
In addition, a series of seminar sessions are held throughout the day, with lunch, refreshments and ‘after show’ drinks included.
It’s free for EAs and PAs to attend, but there’s a limited number of places available, so interested parties should register swiftly here to avoid disappointment.
Meanwhile, PA Life and the PA Life Club run a series of Meet Up networking events and FAM trips throughout the year. Coming up next is:
PA Life Club FAM Trip: Surrey’s Hilton Cobham – 11 April
From 5pm to 8pm, Club members will be offered a guided tour around the hotel’s meeting and accommodation rooms, while also getting the opportunity to taste the venue’s hot and cold buffet.
